USC partners with 12D Solutions for free civil engineering software

The USC Department of Civil Engineering entered into a Memorandum of Agreement with 12D Solutions Pty Ltd and the Civil and Surveying Institute on October 23, 2024 at the USC Talamban Campus. 

USC President Fr. Estepa seals the deal with Dr. Soon Teh of 12D Solutions Pty. Ltd.

Under the MOA, USC will be able to use the software package developed by 12D Solutions at no cost for educational purposes. These applications include the design of roads, highways, ports and dredging, land development, drainage, sewer and utilities, surveying, construction, rivers, dams and hydrology, BIM and digital engineering. 

The partnership between USC and 12D Solutions aims to enhance students’ knowledge in using relevant technology for addressing real world problems pertaining to the specializations under the civil engineering track.

Present during the MOA signing were USC President Fr. Francisco Antonio Estepa, SVD, Ph.D. Engr. Janice B. Jamora, chair of the Department of Civil Engineering, and Dr. Soon Teh of 12D Solutions Pty. Ltd.
