USC grads place 8th, 10th in Civil Engineers board

The University of San Carlos Department of Civil Engineering produced two board placers in the November and December 2024 Civil Engineers Licensure Examination administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). 

Engr. Rodolfo Guanzon Misa Jr. (left) placed 8th while Engr. Lorenzo Rafael Arcamo Langbid (right) placed 10th in the Civil Engineers licensure examination.

Engr. Rodolfo Guanzon Misa Jr. placed 8th with a rating of 91.50% while Engr. Lorenzo Rafael Arcamo Langbid landed on the 10th spot at 91.15%. 

The Department has a 63.77% passing rate for first-time takers (44/69) and an overall passing rate of 56.63% (47/83) compared to the national average of 37.07%. 

Overall, 6,835 out of 18,436 examinees successfully passed the board examination.
