Pope Francis addresses International Federation of Catholic Universities

His Holiness Pope Francis restates the University’s ideals of scientia, virtus, and devotio during his address to members of the International Federation of Catholic Universities on November 4, 2017 at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome.

The Holy Father highlighted the need for universities to contribute in research, teaching, and social promotion, in particular addressing forced migration and educating refugees, as well as providing opportunities for students to volunteer in aid programs.

The University of San Carlos is a member of the International Federation of Catholic Universities. November 4th is the feast day of San Carlos Borromeo.
