JobStreet lists USC in top 10 of fresh grad hires

Employment portal JobStreet (Philippines) listed the University of San Carlos in the top 10 sources of fresh graduates hired by companies last year.

JobStreet’s 2018 Fresh Graduates Report released last April 18 placed USC in 8th place ahead of the University of Cebu in 9th; USC and UC are the only two schools outside Metro Manila that made the top ten.

Polytechnic University of the Philippines topped the list for the second year in a row, followed by the University of the Philippines and Ateneo de Manila University. Graduates from PUP were hired in Business Process Outsourcing companies as well as in manufacturing, information technology, and banking. Graduates from UP were the top choice for the manufacturing sector, while ADMU graduates were preferred by the retail industry.
