Interior Design students win nationwide design competition

Third-year B.S. Interior Design students Alessandra Joan Mojado, Bianca Blanche Gerasmio, and Krystal Allosada grabbed the grand prize during the 2024 Solid Surface Design and Innovation Quest Interschool Competition on October 5, 2024.

The Carolinian team, known as ABAKA Designs, was chosen as the winner for their outstanding design proposal which set them apart from all other entries. 

As champions, each team member will receive a tablet valued at Php 30,000 and the honor of having their design brought to life. 

The Solid Surface Innovation Quest, organized by SEA Olympus Marketing Inc., invited architecture and interior design students from all over the Philippines to explore the theme, “Usability and Aesthetics: Can Beautiful Be Usable?”
