12 service awardees, 16 retirees honored

Twelve service awardees and 16 retirees were honored by the University of San Carlos community in a ceremony on December 13, 2018 at the Best Western Plus Lex Cebu. Awardees received a plaque and a gift for their 25 years of service while retirees received a commemorative ring.

The 25-year service awardees are (in alphabetical order) Esperidion S. Abellana (Department of General Education and Mission), Mary Felma A. Aliño (Department of Fine Arts), Bernadette M. Andres (School of Education), Centina G. Bernil (USC Press), Liza M. Gulle (Basic Education Department, South Campus), Jose Dennis G. Lacson (Basic Education Department, North Campus), Alex H. Melchor (Department of Civil Engineering), Violeta L. Nuñez (Department of Accountancy), Cielo A. Orias (Basic Education Department, South Campus), Noel D. Roble, Ph.D. (Department of Biology), Ma. Phyllis May C. Sia (Department of Industrial Engineering), and Dave Anthony P. Valles (Department of Biology).
