DCISM students garner highest score in PhilNITS certification exams

The University of San Carlos Department of Computer, Information Sciences, and Mathematics (DCISM) produced excellent results in the April 2025 PhilNITS Fundamental IT Technology Engineers Certification (FE) examinations, released in July 2025.

Among the examinees, Carolinians John Alexis Buot (BSCS 4), Andrei Benedict Aqui Go (BSCS 2), and Zeus David Elderfield (BSCS 2) garnered the highest scores in the entire Philippines. Moreover, Buot also ranked second in the entire Information Technology Professionals Examination Council (ITPEC). 

The following are the list of FULL FE Passers from the University of San Carlos.

The PhilNITS Fundamental IT Technology Engineers Certification is a standardized test designed to assess the basic skills and knowledge of IT professionals in the Philippines. Out of 85 passers this year, 27 are from USC.
