USC inks MOU, MOA with Aboitiz Power

The University of San Carlos entered into a Memorandum of Understanding and a Memorandum of Agreement with Aboitiz Power on January 8, 2024, at the Chia Chian Room, Bunzel Building, USC Talamban Campus.

From left: Rosana J. Ferolin, D.I.T. (Dean, USC SOE), Belen B. Catanduanes (SAVP HR, Aboitiz Power), Fr. Francisco Antonio T. Estepa, SVD, Ph.D. (USC President), Anton Mari G. Percides (SVP and COO, Aboitiz Power), and Engr. Raul Lucero (President and COO, Visayan Electric) display the signed memoranda.

Vice President for Academic Affairs Fr. Jesuraj Anthoniappen, SVD, Ph.D. delivered the opening remarks during the signing ceremony. Meanwhile, Anton Mari G. Percides, Senior Vice President and COO of Aboitiz Power Corporation (Distribution), also shared a message and an AVP presentation. 

USC President Fr. Francisco Antonio T. Estepa, SVD, Ph.D. shared his acceptance message on behalf of the University. Belen B. Catanduanes, SAVP Human Resources of the Aboitiz Power (Distribution) also gave a briefer regarding the MOU and the scholarship MOA. 

The event ended with a closing remark from Rosana J. Ferolin, D.I.T., Dean of the USC School of Engineering.
