USC grad places 6th in CPA licensure exam

Megan D. Mendoza, a graduate of the University of San Carlos Department of Accountancy, placed 6th (89.17%) in the September 2023 Certified Public Accountants Licensure Examination (CPALE) administered by the Professional Regulation Commission. 

Megan D. Mendoza placed 6th in the CPALE 2023.

With a total of 72 passers, the University garnered a 59.50% passing percentage which is well above the national average of 31.37%. Moreover, USC has a 64.29% passing rate for its first-time takers. 

Overall, a total of 2,740 out of 8,734 examinees nationwide successfully hurdled the exam.
