ECOViP, a project co-funded by the European Commission and coordinated by Nha Trang University, aims to develop entrepreneurial and innovation capacities for sustainable development in tourism in Vietnam and the Philippines.

This project will promote the development of innovative interdisciplinary entrepreneurial Ecotourism projects by Higher Education Institution students, in cooperation with the private sector. Aside from the universities, a tourism agency in Vietnam and an ecotourism association in the Philippines also comprise the project consortium.

Meanwhile, the University of San Carlos will actively take part in the various capacity-building and knowledge-sharing sessions of the project. USC will take the lead in the conduct of the Replication Workshops as well as on Work Package 10 on Quality Assurance.

The public launch will be participated in by the ministries responsible for Higher Education in Vietnam and the Philippines and will highlight the objectives and timeline of the 3-year project and its potential impact.
